Selena Gomez received her first award nomination this morning when the MTV European Music Award nominees were made public.

Selena Gomez who is the lead vocals for her band Selena Gomez and The Scene received a nomination for Best Push Act.
Selena will have to battle pop sensation Justin Bieber, B.o.B, Ke$ha, Jason Derulo and Alexandra Burke for the award. The ceremony will take place in Caja Magica in Madrid, Spain on November 7th.
